Hi, I’m Linh — the live wedding painter behind Dang de toi
I’m a painter based in Lausanne, and I spend my weekends at weddings with an easel, a lot of brushes and a slightly embarrassing amount of oil paint. In 2023 I started painting weddings live in Switzerland, back when almost nobody here had heard of it. Since then I’ve painted weddings from Lake Annecy to Lake Lugano, and plenty of places in between.
From political science to paintbrushes
I actually studied political science. But painting was always the thing I couldn’t stop doing, so I taught myself, kept going, and eventually found the place where it made the most sense: weddings. Real people, real emotion, a few hours to catch it. My style is loose and romantic, more about the light and the mood than every single detail.
About the name
Dang de toi is a pun on the French dingue de toi, “crazy about you” — with my surname, Dang, slipped in. It felt right for someone who paints people in love for a living.
I speak French, English and Vietnamese, get by in German, and I’m learning Italian — so we can plan your wedding in whichever language feels easiest. When I’m not painting, I’m probably on a walk by the lake or halfway through a book.
