Live watercolor portraits of your wedding guests

While they sip champagne, your guests are photographed in a second and painted in watercolor, in a fashion-illustration style. No queue, no posing: by the end of the night, everyone has a portrait of their very own.

The favor no one forgets on the table, painted live in Switzerland, France, Italy and across Europe.

Why your guests will love it

  • A keepsake, not a trinket. A portrait of themselves is the favor guests frame, long after the sugared almonds are forgotten.
  • Entertainment with grace. The painting station becomes the place everyone gathers during cocktail hour, no sound system required.
  • Fine art, by hand. Real watercolor on fine paper, in the spirit of editorial fashion illustration.
  • Beyond weddings. At private celebrations and brand activations, guests sit for a few minutes and watch their portrait appear: a live moment that draws a crowd.

How it works

  1. 01

    Planning together

We go through your timeline, the spot for the painting station and the style you prefer, and agree on how many guests can be painted and when.

  2. 02

    The painting station

You or your venue provide a table and chair in keeping with your decor. Add a few flowers or candles, and the station becomes part of your styling.

  3. 03

    Portraits, live

A quick photo of each guest, then about six to eight minutes of painting per portrait. Nobody waits in line: guests go back to the party and can drop by the station whenever they like.

  4. 04

    To take home

At the end of the night, each portrait is handed out in a protective sleeve, ready for a handbag tonight and a frame tomorrow.

We discovered Linh quite late in our planning and had already gone over our entertainment budget, but the moment we saw her talent, we knew we wanted her there, and we don’t regret it for a second! Communication was easy and professional, the preparation meeting went smoothly and everything on the day was perfectly organized. Our guests were so excited to take home such a personal memory that some even asked for her contact details for their own events. If you’re considering booking Linh: do it!

Your questions

How long does one portrait take?

About six to eight minutes per guest.

Do guests have to pose?

At weddings, no. A quick photo is all it takes, so there’s no queue, and every portrait is handed out at the end of the night. At private events and brand activations, guests sit for a few minutes and watch their portrait come to life, which suits a large crowd where not everyone takes part.

How many guests can be painted?

Around 30–40 guests in 4 hours and 55–80 in 8 hours, depending on whether you choose portraits with faces or the quicker faceless style.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes, with pleasure. Based in Lausanne, I paint all over Switzerland, France, Italy and beyond. Travel is included in your personal proposal.

What do you need from us on the day?

A table of at least 80 × 60 cm and a chair in keeping with your decor, somewhere your guests pass by, plus a cushion for the chair: I’m petite, and most chairs sit too low to paint comfortably. Everything else is taken care of.

Would you love this at your wedding?
